Who we are

Channel HQ is a read-only dashboard that shows creators and agencies how their YouTube and Instagram channels are growing and what their automation did. It is operated by Esipick (esipick.com). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to remove it.

Questions or requests: ali@esipick.com.

What we collect

We only collect data for channels and accounts that you connect yourself.

  • YouTube (through Google sign-in, read-only): your channel profile and public subscriber count, your video list including titles, thumbnails and the status of private and scheduled videos, and YouTube Analytics figures such as views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost, and per-video averages. We never receive your Google password.
  • Instagram (through Instagram login, read-only): your professional account profile, follower count, your recent posts and their insights such as reach, views, saves and shares.
  • Automation data you send us: records that your own scheduled tasks post to your workspace, such as runs, decisions, to-do items and publishing slots.
  • Account data: your email address and name, used to sign you in and show you your workspace.
  • Basic technical logs (such as request time and errors) used to keep the service running.

Google and YouTube API Services

Channel HQ uses YouTube API Services. By using Channel HQ you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and you can read the Google Privacy Policy at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Channel HQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

We ask for exactly two permissions, both read-only: "View your YouTube account" (youtube.readonly) and "View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content" (yt-analytics.readonly). Channel HQ cannot upload, edit, delete or publish anything on your channel, and it cannot see revenue figures.

We use this data only to show it back to you and to the members of your workspace, and to compute estimates such as progress toward the YouTube Partner Program. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Who can see your data

Inside your workspace, what people can see depends on their role: owners and operators see everything, and client viewers see only the overview, channels and reports. We do not share your data with anyone else, except the service providers that run Channel HQ for us and only to do so:

  • Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in.
  • Vercel, which hosts the application.

We may disclose data if the law requires it.

How we protect it

Access tokens are stored encrypted (Supabase Vault) and are never sent to your browser or written to logs. Every workspace is isolated from every other workspace by database row-level security. Connections use HTTPS. We never store your Google or Instagram password.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

While a channel is connected we refresh its data regularly (YouTube data hourly, Instagram data every two hours) so that what we hold stays current.

  • When you disconnect a channel, we revoke our access at Google and delete the stored token immediately. Metrics and video data stored for that channel are deleted automatically within 30 days.
  • If our access stops working (for example you revoked it at Google), the same 30-day deletion applies to that channel.
  • If you close your workspace or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days. Write to ali@esipick.com.
  • Raw requests our automation API receives are kept for 30 days for debugging, then deleted.

Revoking access at any time

You can remove Channel HQ's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by choosing Disconnect in Channel HQ under Settings, Channels. For Instagram, remove Channel HQ under Settings, Apps and websites in your Instagram account.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to ali@esipick.com. Channel HQ is not directed at children under 16.
